Oh bless your heart, you poor child. Allow me to elaborate on a few things since you so miserably missed the point.
A) Just because YOU have defined biceps and abs doesnt mean it’s an easily attainable goal for many. Every body is different. Some men achieve muscle definition easier than others with varying degrees of effort. Just because you personally have achieved a toned look doesnt mean boo. Think outside of yourself for about 2 minutes, child. The world doesnt revolve around you.
B) I never mentioned the word ‘skinny’ nor anything putting down skinny men with muscles. I said ‘strongmen’ not ‘strong men’. There is a difference. Men of many different body types can be strong, even deceptively so. A ‘Strongman’, not a 'strong man’, is like a baseball player. They’re an athlete. They train for a certain goal. In their case, strongmen train for absolutely absurd levels of physical strength which go above and beyond what most men of any body type are normally, without intensive training, remotely capable of acheiving. Put a Mr. Universe contestant against a Strongman contestant in a strength and stamina contest and the strongman will win every time because Mr. Universe contestants don’t train for strength. Just for defenition. Strongmen dont dehydrate themselves for a look (which the actors in movies like 300 and Magic Mike had to do to achive that chiselled look). Function over form. That’s what strongmen train for.
C) “I can see their gut so they’re clearly pushing out their stomach and not just doing a mixture of relaxing and slouching into a more comfortable position” is just completely ignorant. Go stand yourself in front of a mirror and completely relax your back, shoulders and abdominal muscles. You’re gonna see some gut past that supposed 6 pack.
D) I direct you to the very last paragraph of my addition, which doesn’t exclude any body type. It doesn’t even exclude Mr. Universe or male movie star type bodies.
Now to anyone seeing this post again, I urge you to ignore this child, whom thinks that just because he has acheived a look that it’s that simple. For many it is not.
Men and boys out there, don’t be depressed if you don’t look like you just stepped off the cover of a magazine. Relax. You are handsome, beautiful and fantastic the way you are, and no matter what you look like, you are someone’s Mr. Universe.
